So, I just got released from the hospital after a blocked band. It worked up to being completely blocked after about 3 weeks post band fill. I had 4cc put in the band 3 weeks ago and slowly my eating and drinking became more difficult and painful. Now they took the 4 ccs out and I am back on liquids for 2 weeks, soft foods for 2 weeks, and then they may fill again slooooowwwly. 1-2 ccs maybe. Has anyone else had any problems like this? What did you do? and I am looking for ideas for the liquid stage??? I am allready bored at day 2. Thank you for any feedback!

Blocked meaning nothing was going through the band at all. This was for about only 3-4 hours. Luckily I work at a hospital and I went to the ER.

Any November 2009 Bandsters??
Inhisplan replied to 120inside's topic in PRE-Operation Weight Loss Surgery Q&A
So I got banded on the 4 th of November. I am almost feeling as if nothing was done, other than the excrutiating gas pains. I am 3-4 weeks post op and have only lost 5lbs. my liquid , my soft , were only 1 week each. and now I am eating solids with little to no problem. I am feeling very discouraged. Does anyone have any advise or have you experienced the same? My first fill is supposed to be in 3 weeks, I can't wait. What till then? -
I need all the help I can get .... Anyone out there?

Thank you , thank you, I am glad I am not the only one. I am having emotional issues regarding my fears also. My surgery date is the 4th of November, only a week and a half away. aahh. excited and scare all at the same time. I know this is normal and I will be fine and soo will you. Just keep talking about it on here or in a support group and we will all get through this. After care is so important too! Support groups or a therapist I was told are great methods for the big changes that lie ahead. Good luck and God Bless! Fellow bandster. -
