Definately rough.....are you allowed sugar and fat free pudding and jello, healthy choice soups....that's what I'm allowed on mine including shakes -

Its all up to you, like I had to do a lot of test.....like a upper gi, sleep study, echo, chest xray, pft, stress study and ekg....I just made. The appointments back to back....sometimes 2 in a day...verify what the surgeon and insurance requires -

I needed cardio clearance as well.....he had to do a stress test, ekg and echo before he could clear me. -

I definately agree with you, my original date was 9/21 and I didn't get my medical clearance in time, but I'm good for 10/7 ......just stay on top of everything -

Wow.......sorry to hear bandstarr430......my mom doesn't like the idea either but she's supportative, my sister is still coming around, my dad is supportative of whatever I decide......I only told them and 3 friends because I don't want to deal with judgement. -

My surgeon requires a week liquid diet and 1 night stay in the hospital.....every doctor is different. -

I got my approval same day and I had to call the doctor's office!!!! -

First I begin, by saying hi to all my fellow New Yorkers lol....Corinne, I did the same thing with having 3 in one day. The faster the better......My original surgeon date was 9/21, butmy pcp did not clear me, I rarely see him since my plan doesn't require referrals, but I had a physical by him tonight and my schedule is next. its hard, but making it through.....I'm using muscle milk light as my protein shake, healthy choice soups, sugar and fat free puddings and shakes.....good luck every1 -
