After struggling with my weight since high school, at age 41 I decided to have Lap-Band surgery. I had complications after surgery which required an additional surgery but finally after five weeks I am now getting better. I have lost a total of 35 pounds from pre-op diet and surgery. I had my first fill today, I did  ask how much and I do not even know what size my band is. All that is pretty sad considering I am a Registered Nurse and should have thought to ask those questions.
