How everyone doing? Georgia~ how you feeling? Leigh~ How you are you doing? Hope everyone is good.. I am still plugging away.. Being trying to run outside one day a week because My 5k is in about 4 weeks.. Need to get used to running outside... I am up to 15 miles a week, running 4 days a week.. I feel pretty good... I think I am addicted to running heheh But I am being careful not to add more miles or speed fast or hurt myself..

I got some compression shorts.. they seem to be helping some with the belly jiggy.. Still have some pain though, near the port area.. Did abs today at the gym and now that area is sore again..

I ran a 5k on the treadmill on tuesday and with .10 miles to go I got a Sharp pain right where my port it.. I had to Hold my stomach in to be able to finish the 5k.. It stopped hurting right away and hasnt hurt since.. Anyone ever had this before?

Wish I had someone to run with... Its just me and the good old MP3 player... Which stopped working today at 1 mile in and 2.5 to go :confused: oh boy let me tell you it was hard to keep going... Will have to buy a new one tomorrow...

So I signed up for my first 5k, Its August 28th. I also Signed up for a 10k at the end of sept. I think it might be a little too much for me but I will be happy if i run most of it and just walk a little.

ice cream addiction has me stalled long term

I just buy single serving ice cream like skinny cow or WW. I am always going to be able to eat ice cream I am not perfect so I allow myself a treat if i went to the gym and have been being good on all other parts of the "plan" -

Sounds like a plan Leigh.. I think that will help... Do you have a 5k race planned? Wish i had an Iphone Thought about getting the nike running thing you put in your shoe. I think i am going to continue to just run 2 to 2.5 miles and try to pick up the speed a little. When I run on the treadmill I am only running like 5.0 mph (which is 12 min mile, nothing to call home about) I think i run faster if i run outside but honestly its way to hot here to be running and I work 2p to 11p and I cant run after work cause it dark and by the time i get up in the AM its hot out already.

I havent really been following it Leigha :ohmy: I am bad. Last week I ran 3 times, 2.15 miles; 2.5 miles ; 2 miles. Today I ran 2.5 miles today.. I feel good! I love running, its like a natural High.. I cant believe I am running this far at 260+ lbs.. Signed up for a 5k at the End of August.

I meant to say also that For cardio since I had the my surgery in march i have been doing running intervals. So run 1 min, walk 2 and repeat over and over again... I think that helped me be ablet to skip all those weeks.. I didnt mean to showoff heheh
