I am super excited about wednesday.. I think that alot of people can lose weight its keeping it off thats hard so I am excited to see how many people kept it off and kept going!

Hiya! Nice to have you here.... I am getting banded in Jan or early feb too! I am 26 and have about 100 more lbs to lose... Your mum just needs to understand this is going to be a "tool" for you to get your goals.. Its def. not the easy way out... Maybe your mother is a bit jealous that you have made the decision to better your lifestyle.. LC :thumbup:

I am not banded... I am currently a size 24 and dont date, Only dated a handful of times since high school... almost 9 years ago... I hope to follow in your guys footsteps... I am just scared i will never be sexy in my own skin :thumbup:

I am having my surgery in Jan or Feb.. I have told many close people. (ie sister, mom,dad) and I told some people at work... I dont talk about it online except for here.. My thing is if I dont tell anyone and something happens they are going to know anways.. I would rather then find out before then after.. My own issue is I play a team sport and we start practicing in Janurary so I am not sure how i am going to go about this without telling them.. I will cross that bridge when it comes..

We sound like twins... I have a very addicting personality too.. I dont keep soda at my house but I am surrounded by soda at work My mom suggested I take excedrin migraine cause it has caffine in.. So i will get over the soda withdrawl.. I dont think its all caffine for me.. I love the taste and the sugar too in soda hehe..

glad to hear everything is going good.. What a nice surgeron.. I would feel bad too.. But I would never not say anything and be miserable.

Wish i could say i have given it up but i havent :thumbup: .. I am currently giving the Weaning off approach try.. I am still 2 month off from my surgery but I want to beat this before surgery...

Thats not true... I am clinical depression, I take medicine and See a therapist for it. The psych doctor approved me for surgery I just had my appt with him Wednesday...
