    Well surgery was five days ago and I feel pretty good. I am still adjusting to how much I should take in at a time. I also have the horrible left shoulder pain. Mine doesn't seem to happen at one specific time. Sometimes when I am hungry and others when I am full. I am hoping it gets better. THe shoulder pain is my only complaint!!! I have lost 8.8 pounds in the five days since surgery.

    My surgeon requires a PURELY liquid diet for 9 days Pre-Op. I am struggling. The mandatory shakes (HMR shakes) have an okay flavor but the texture makes me gag when I'm trying to drink them. Anyone else have similar problems or advice? I am trying not to cheat but it is SOO hard.
