I've struggled with my weight since I was in the third grade.  I was constantly ridiculed as a child, an adolescent and as an adult.  I tried numerous times to lose weight.  Sometimes I even had success.  But the weight always seemed to come back (plus some extra).  After the birth of my two small children, I knew that I wouldn't be able to lose the weight alone.  I saw a commercial for Lap-Band and sixteen months later I am ready for surgery.
