I was thinking the same thing, "am I really going to do this?" I could only think of the the things that could go wrong, but after I spoke with the anesthesiologist I felt much better, calmer, and ready. They made me feel so relaxed, and while I was on my "i don't care" meds it was smooth sailing then. I woke up in a lot of discomfort, nausea, and extremely groogy. My stomach is having those gas pains that are somewhat unbearable, I wish that they would go away already, hopefully tomorrow will be better. I was thinking of you and abbypoo while I was about to go back so I hope things went well for you two as well. Keep me posted.

Yes all of my questions have been answered. I think the reason that it has gotten a little harder last few days is because of my "monthly visitor" has been thrown off due to the diet so my hormones are out of sync, and no I haven't lost, which the nurse says is no big deal. So it could be a number of things. Have you watched the emmi yet?

The pre-op appointment was very lengthy. Me along with 2 other patients meet with the dietician to discuss after care eating habits, we also met with the surgeon one on one to discuss any questions prior to surgery and also met with us as a group to discuss procedure. This diet is not getting any easier, still have a week from today, so keep me posted with your status as well, hang in there!

Yes my diet started last Wednesday, its really taken its toll, but I'm living with it. I have a pre-op appt. tomorrow morning, let's keep in touch...

I'm also getting banded August 12th...Excited and nervous at the same time...

Hi, I noticed that you were from Nashville, I live about 45 minutes south of Nashville and have Dr. Morton as my surgeon. My lapband op is set for August 12th. I was curious on your journey, if you had any problems during or after surgery? I'm meeting Dr. Morton on Tuesday and prepared to ask a lot of questions.
