hi ev 1 my name is art i went too the bariatrics facility near my house and i attended one of there seminars i found out because of my many health problems that i would be a ok for medicare too pay im 6ft 1 and 300 lbs and my bmi is 39.6 during the seminar tho i also found out good old medicare makes you wait 3 - 6 months i guess thats for the approval not sure well anyway after the seminar the surgeon told me i could go up and make an appointment for one on one counceling which i was like so excited but nervouse in a way its a big step . so anyway i am gonna see the surgeon on aug 13th for my one on one and i surely dont know what happens after that but i guess i will find out thurs but i am so bummed about the medicare wait gggrrrrrr if anyone else used the mdicare system please write back and let me know ok would love too hearf from ya . if anyone can write me back with a sequence order of what takes place next you know what i mean each step in the process before surgery (not asking too much is it lmao) i would appreciate that also i know all surgeons are diffrent but id like too hear anyway i do know i have too meet with nutricionist and a shrink so ok all have a great day eat proper i too will be a band man one day :thumbup:

hello all new here i have gout in my foot and they told me too watch what i eat i dont eat any red meats pork. beef, fish i wasn't told to do this i just took it upon myself cause that stuff is painfull , my question is that they want me too eat high in protien foods from what i understand, so how will that affect my gout i surley don't want that back im 6ft1 and 305 lbs and that brought me too my knees quick baby:tt1:

im a real man and i hop too have the surgery am haveing the seminar meeting on wed aug 5th 2009 from there we will see what happns:thumbup:

hi everyone my neurosurgeon just informed me that i have too bad disks ontop of the 4 i have fised now and if he fuses them the next two may go bad so he opted not too touch me but did make a suggestion too maybe look into lapband surgery so i did some research last week and made my choice too go too the seminar this week aug 5th cause with my bad mack and multiple health issues. sleep apnia, hypothyroidism, high blood pressure my weight (305) and i also have gout so he figures that this surgery may be of great help too my well being im a little nervouse i have read a bunch of the inputs on this site and like what i read im just worried he won't do it cause i have hypo thyroidism will i still loose weight i hope i have a new home here its a pleasure being here

i am on allopurinol so thats a great thing thanks for the feedback it helps alot
