I am doing great! I think I may be eating more than I should. I haven't had the adjustment yet so I am able to eat about anything! I am excited that I have lost 20 pounds so far. I lost 8 the 2 weeks before surgery and another 12 when I was on the liquid diet. I have kept that off. I weigh everyday to make sure.

I just had my surgery yesterday! I don't feel as bad as I thought I was going to. Not much pain at all. I told the doc in the operating room to get as much gas out as he could and he must have done just that. I am drinking water and coffee and had some jello for breakfast. Things are going well so far.:cursing:

I am having the surgery on Monday and I am really nervous. I have heard different stories about the pain afterwards. Some say it is nothing to worry about and others say OMG it is horrific! What to believe? :biggrin:

Good for you! I am having my surgery on Monday. I read that you shouldn't worry about the weight loss the first week or two. Just get the healing started.

I am having my surgery on Monday! I get mixed messages on how much the gas is going to hurt. I think the pain is what I fear the most. So, you still have gas pains? Did it go away after the surgery?
