Hello my name is Jenn and I was banded on the 24th of July 2009! I am a mother of three wonderful little boys. I'm a wife and in love with a wonderful man who is understanding. I was always over wwight. I come from a long line of over weight woman in my family.this was my moment when I knew something had to be done. My 9 yr old son came up to me and ask me to walk with him in the walk a thon, at his school. Overwhelmed with sadness. I told my son I was not able to walk that far, and gave him the huge list of excuses that I give everyone! After he was upset and so was I. Man it really upset me. I was toying with the thought of the lap band and was watching you tube and seeing the before and afters of the lap band surgery and how these people looked after! I thought to myself, I can do this!! The next visit to my Doctor. I asked him about the lap band and he thought it was a great idea! He referred me to Dr. Corin's office and I was full steam ahead!! I was on my way to a new me and a great life with my kids and hubby!! I will walk in the walk a thon this fall with my son!! YEAH ME!!
