Thanks Susan. Believe it or not, the scale has jumped and I'm down another 7 pounds!!!! I was surprised to hear you have staples. I was glued. Are you doing okay with the diet so far? Portion control is my problem.

congrats on your 20lb weight loss..i hope i am as successful..thanks for the info. my name is susan i live in nc.my start weight was 242. i will be glad when i have my 2 wk ck up so i can get rid of these staples.

Hi. I was banded on July 8th, 2009. Between sips of Atkins Advantage, sugar free pops and homemade vegetable broths, the two weeks were good ones for me. At my 2 week checkup, my doctor started me on mushy food and my weight loss slowed to a crawl. I wish I were back on liquids! Good luck!
