I've always been overweight for as long as I can remember. The teen years weren't so bad because I was active. But I would always find myself eating for no apparent reason. My girlfriend's daughter had the gastric bypass surgery at 15 because she weighed 300 lbs. She's been maintaining her weight for around 6 years at 130 lbs. I opted for the band because it's adjustable. I still have a personal goal of 25 lbs. to lose, just having a hard time breaking 160. I feel that it's "psychological" since I've been overweight for most of my life. I may need to have my band adjusted again to motivate me. I have a 10 cc band filled at 7.5 cc. Would appreciate any tips on motivating myself to "cross the finish line".
