I am a 30 year old man with 3 kids. I was a former offensive lineman in college and weighed around 290lbs. I wasn't overly fat and pretty athletic for my size so I carried my weight well. As soon as my career ended I stopped working out and kept eating the same way I was while I was working out regularly. My weight fluxuated between 315 and 330lbs for a couple years. After my third child was born I had less and less time to try and keep my weight in check and soon balooned to 350lbs. At that point I knew I had to do something. I started working out, running and eating well but didn't see the results I wanted. I saw a commercial for the Lap-Band and was very intrigued by it. So I did alot of research on the procedure, the results and the eating patterns involved with it. Soon after I got the process started and saw my Primary Care Physician and talked to her about the Lap-Band.
