My Name is Amy and I back in June/09 I went for the meeting to learn about the Lap Band. After leaving the meeting I knew this was for me. I go for my 3 month weight in on 8/10/09 and if I have lost 4 pounds they are going to submit the pre-determination for surgery to my insurance. I am hoping and praying that I get approved. I am so glad there is a place were I can go and talk about this because no one knows how you feel better than people have are going threw it.
