I had gastric by-pass surgery 6 years ago. I had VERY FEW complications and wonderful weight loss. I became pregnant 18 months out and had a beautiful daughter. (my last of 4) Since the beginning of the pregnancy until now I have slowly gained weight. I am only 45 pounds below when I had my original gastric by-pass. My stomach seems to be able to eat almost anything. I feel like a failure. I'm wondering if the Lap Band would help me. I have Tri-Care insurance and don't know if I would qualify for a lap band procedure or not. I'm starting to feel VERY FAT again and like my life is being shortened by my weight gain.
