I just wanted to say that we all can do this and we do not need to focus on the negative on this site and focus on our health and how much healthier we will be if we do this the right way. I think alot of people that do not suceed are the ones not doing exactly what they are suppose too because I have watched them on youtube and hear that they are not exercising and eating what they want to eat. I mean one girl ate like a whole pizza one night just to see how much she could eat with the band. The band is a tool and if we remember that and follow what we are told by the dr and nutritionist, we will succeed.

I decided to start my own pre-op diet today of full liquids and I also exercised for 30 minutes on my treadmill. Feel great and not even hungry. Well good night all. Have to work in the morning.

All of the above. Can't wait! I am going to start my pre-op diet on Monday even though my doctor only requires 5 days pre-op diet. I am also going to start walking on my treadmill, Monday. So hopefully all goes well. We will all suceed. We just all need to stick with it and stick together. Yeah for the September 09 bandsters! Yes we can!

Hi everyone. I am new to this site and am having Lap band surgery September 1rst. This is my first blog and just wondering about successes of everyone for some inspiration. How much has everyone lost and how long did it take you? What type of exercise did you do and what was a typical day as far as eating?:biggrin:

Thanks for the comments. I have lost 4 lbs this last week just from cutting soda from my diet. Monday I start my pre-op diet of liquids. I am also going to start walking on my treadmill. Can't wait til September 1rst.
