    Night Eating...Help!

I too have this problem, but I eat sugar free popsicles. I know I am really not hungry but I just want to eat. I do not sleep at night despite medication I take. I usually can't sleep until around 3:00 am or later. My husband is out at 10:00 pm Sometimes I have to get up and do a workout. I spend a lot of time working out on my Total gym sometimes 1 or 2 am. I sometime take another warm bath when I want to eat.
  2. btrieger: You are doing so good Congratulations! Cheri

Just wait till you get in your forties ladies then everything is just “the change” go home and rest. Hate those words!

    port pain?

I think that is normal, pain should go away in a few more days if not call your Doctor, everyone is different and has different pain levels. But sounds normal to me try not to over do it. Cheri
  10. In 15 months I have hardly ever felt hunger. Sometimes if I am busy I can go all day and not eat. But I do not reccomend that ... we all need our protien. I do not know if everyone has that or not. I was hungry before my first fill but after that none. I only have 3.8 ccs in a 10cc band. It is so nice not to have hunger . . . but the head hunger or emotional hunger is a different story

    Banded 2006-I hate my band

Go to a support group with other people who are banded. Read, research online and asked your surgeon for more details if you need them. There are some good books out there. But do not believe everything you read use wisdom. Cheri

    Am I doing something wrong?

Try drinking something hot before you eat. I drink coffee every morning as my band is too tight in the morning and drinking something hot before you eat makes it easier. Try some coffee or hot tea. Sometimes I have to do that before I eat a meal or take my meds. So sorry you are having so much trouble. I think that is a something we all are afraid of. Cheri
  13. Some people from my support group have and they like him. I used Dr. Hagar Spivak in Houston and he is great too Cheri

    Psych eval/sleeping

I say be honest, but you can explain that when you meet with them. Going to the bathroom at night will not keep you from getting WLS. Cheri
  17. Go back and let them remove a tiny bit more. A lot of people have no fill at the time of surgery. You can always have it put back. It is a must that you can drink, you should have no troubles drinking. Cheri

    Family Support... not

Sounds like you might have to look for a good support group outside the house. There are support groups everywhere or just start your own. We did here. We all met on this website and got together about 6 of us and we still meet many month later. It really helps to be around people who really know what you are going through. Cheri

    Stress and the Band

You need to find a way to reduce the stress in your life. If your life is just going to be stressful . . .get some counseling to learn some coping skills to deal with all the stress you are dealing with. Are you chewing really really well and eating slowly? Cheri

    Diet Coke

Don't go back. It was the hardest thing I have ever did to give up diet coke but I did cold turkey. I still miss it. Put a drink in your mouth keep it a minute then spit it out, you will not want it anymore. It is not good for you or your pouch. I am still looking for something to replace it 15 months later still have not found it. Nothing as good as diet coke!! Some people drink it but my doctor and many doctors say no way. Cheri

    Sugar free candy

No candy but a lot of suger free popsicles. I can not stop eating them. Right now am sitting in front of the heater eating one. I have to have them every night. It has become a very bad habit. I think sugar free candy is okay as long as you check the carbs and it does not trigger your craving for more sweets or carbs Cheri
