My story is long and wrought with complications. I was banded in 2001 and all was well. I felt great. I even went home that night (while others weren't able to walk, I was up and movin)I ended up getting an seroma, in fact a series of seromas. My port was ultimately removed. After a healing time, it was replaced on the other side.Since then, I have lost my health insurance and was not religious about fills. I have to go through Flouro to get a fill done because of the port placement, so it is vrey expensive to get it done. I have gained back almost all of the weight. I am now recommitted to losing the weightand once my insurance is in place, I will be able to move forward.
