I've been heavy since first grade and just can't seem to get out of the rut. I found out three years ago that I have PCOS and then a year later hypothyroidism. My weight seemed to flucuate 10 lbs. up and down, but no significant weight loss. I'm 26 and have been told unless I lose the weight I may not be able to have children (due to the PCOS). I've been married a little over a year now and knew I had to do something soon. I have zero energy...I have to make myself go to work and do anything extra besides that. I am scheduled for the lap band surgery next week and I'm so excited! I feel like I have missed out on so much in life because I was so ashamed of the way I look on the outside and I want who I am on the inside to really be able to shine through. I just want to feel like me!
