help, im gaining, and im feeling down

If it was just me i would have no problem. Problem lies in the cooking for 2 others. They love the carbs, even if i try to make healthy choices there isnt enough support by them to not eat it. Its hard. My grand is a toothpick( like her mother) and my husband is in the denial stage of losing. Its so darn fustrating. -

I do have 3 lb weights, and try to use them. I get so discuraged with the weight loss. Food choices are a problem lately. I am trying to change that. But after a day with 6 special ed kids im tired. My get up and go left with the chasing, holding, and draining emotional stuff from the day. My 8 year old grand that i have is trying to get me up to do stuff with her. Lately its not aa easy. Ill try my best to get up and move it. Lol. Moral support is a good thing, even from a stranger. -

Well for starters, Dont judge by my short little post. I have other circumstances that prevent me from stuff. I had the band in 2010, it kept prolapse ing, had it removed in 2012, sleeve done in 2012. i do not over eat. When im full im full. I am following what they said, Breakfast, lunch, dinner, 1or 2 snacks. I did better when i skipped meals and ate when i was hungry. I dont drive, so going away from my hood is impossible. I only posted for a little support not judgement. -

Most of my problem is the excersize, i was off for the summer, didnt get out much, sat, weather was a problem. Now im back to work and cant seem to get my excersizing back on track, its fustrating, i dont have a treadmill anymore or a bike. And right now the neighborhood isnt safe. (Recent shooting 4 doors away). Im so fustrated and it doesnt help that my husband has gained(due to his job as a bus driver) and he has no desire to really get it off. He eats everything. -
went to the dr a few days ago, still feeling a bit blah, but did lose 3 lbs of fat, gained 5 lbs water and my weight was only different by .o9 lbs. not bad i guess, food choices still need tweeking

went to see dr. hoffman yesterday, (saw the nurse insead) the band was to tight, i gained 3 lbs, i am so friggen fustrated. I hear all the stories of all the weight loss, i am stuck at the 50 lbs and i was hoping at my 1 year mark i would be closer to my goal of 75. ugh. I need to get out and walk more and excercize. i just hate doing it alone, and no money to join the gym. feeling lost -

WOW i was beginning to think that noone reads these posts, lol. I dont drive so i cant make it to the meetings, but i wil be glad when the weather gets warm enough to start walking and doing the outdoor stuff i love. Gardening, swimming, and just plain outdoors. I am still struggling with food choices, but trying to be good. Seems like stuff gets stuck more often now, ( i need to slow down i think) I see dr. hoffman next month and hope i lost a few more lbs. -

I havent gotten anything until today from the website, well i guess i needed it, I had the lapband last april so i am coming up on 1 year. I have lost 50 + lbs. I am fustrated, i know i dont get enough excersize. and i feel like i am defeated. I really dont get alot of support from my husband, and i really dont have anyone to talk to on a regular basis. -
i am still in the program, i just had my first talk with the nurse practioner, all went well, i will see hoffman in march. I have some tests to make appointments for stuff. I am hoping to get all done in 8 weeks.

Hello all, i am new to all of this, I have just started the procedings for the lap band and i have a friend whom reccomended the drs at BGH. I read the postings from you all anad have to say it sounds great. I dont have much of a support system here at home,(hoping it will change the further i go into this) and my friend/co-worker who just had the surgery told me of this site. So far i like it. lol. I have paperwork i filled out and am going to my internal med dr on the 18th. I have BCBS and know they approve. I am 320 right now and hate it. I would like to lose 100+ lbs. to start. Am i fooling myself. I hate being fat!!!!!!!! -
Hi everyone, i am a 50 year old grandma of 4 and one on the way and am tired of not being able to have my babies sit on my lap. I would love to see them grow. !!!! I am in the process of getting the things in place to have the surgery done. Yeah i am nervous, but i hope to have moral support from my family and friends. Its so hard, as i dont have access to excercize equipment. I have tried to lose weight by myself and havent had much success. I guess you could call me heartbroken because i went to the drs yesterday and they told me i had gained another 4 lbs, i feel like a failure. One of the nurse practioners said this was a good place to start. So here i am.:eek::laugh:
