Easy Jet say they have changed their policy, so that any inbound luggage is no longer covered by their insurance. It's a good job I have holiday insurance to cover it Carriejess, sorry to hear that your lovelife has taken a turn for the worse, but I guess you would rather know now he's a cheat than in 6 months time ???? Hi Guys Welcome back Homecare and Singing Parrott Just back from holiday too, had a week in Spain and had a wonderfully relaxing time with a friend. Started my pre-op diet while I was there and have lost 4lbs in a week...quiet happy with that :frown: Only one thing spoiled the whole trip which was, 'Not so, Easy Jet' has lost my suitcase !!!!!!!!!!! and they say I can't claim from them.....can you believe it, when I have proof that they are at fault !!! Its 4 days on and no sign of it. I don't think I will see it again, Its goin to cost a fortune to replace everything........the one thing I'm not too worried about is the clothes, cus I'm hoping they wouldn't fit me soon anyway !!! Such is life, roll on 11th September, can't wait for my op. Not been able to take the Milk Thistle this week, as it was in my case but really tryin to cut down of fat. S x

Hi Jackie and Pixie Good idea Jackie. Why dont we wait until I am post op and then we can talk about our experiences. We can meet up at the end of September, if thats ok with Pixie ? I'm not sure at the moment where Pixie lives but we could grab a coffee in town, maybe along the Waterfront ? Lookin forward to it, already S.x

Well time is moving closer to 11th Sept and I am starting to get excited. It feels like I've got this big secret that no one knows about !!! I finally booked my flights today for Mum, Brett and I. What a pickle, the prices have seemed to have rocketed. I managed to get £50 off by going with Last minute.com, which is with the same flight provider. I'm just waiting on Fred confirming the Hotel with me and receipt of my deposit and then its all systems go. Managed to find a good Euro exchange rate 1.15 from a company online. I will check with my sister Louise before I proceed, you never know I might get a better deal.

Thanks for the kind words it is much appreciated.For me i could not really see the difference until i put the pictures up. Thats me weighed in for the month this morning and i have lost 9lb taking me to a total of 6 stone 3lb so well chuffed with that. So for anyone starting there journey or stuck on the same weight IT CAN BE DONE. Never did i think last year i would start to feel so good about myself.The more weight i loose the more confident i feel.:w00t: Good luck to Gary and the girls that are flying out for there ops tomorrow. ______________________________________________________ BoBo, your weight loss is a fantastic achievement, it gives me so much hope that one day I will lose that much weight also and feel so confident again !! My last encounter with men was 5 months ago and I'm currenly not dating or looking for anyone because of how I feel and look, so the quicker the 11th Sept comes around the better and MAYBE after Christmas, I can go back on the market again !!! I've signed up with Wendy at WLS for my fills. I've noticed that you have practically gone for a monthly fill. Is that by choice or was the timing right for you ? I though I could get my appointments booked in advance ? :sneaky: S.x

The hotel is very clean but basic, a bit like a travel lodge, the staff are great, very friendly. Fred and Dr Chris were a lot younger than I expected, both very nice people. I would strongly recommend ayone thinking of going should book the package with Fred, it seemed to be much cheaper and we were all staying in the same hotel so we could give each other support. Shellangel stayed in another hotel and I have to say I did worry about her being all on her own. If you can you should take someone with you. One of the other girls arrived on her own but then called her husband to drive over and pick her up, you do feel week after the op. We all said that we would have liked to of stayed another night in the hospital. I've never been in such a clean hospital before. No one should be worried about the level of care you receive its the best, the staff speak english, theres no MRSA o swine flu, they dont een wear gloves when there touching you. Over her thy dont look at you without a pair of gloves on. They give you all the medication you need. I think the worst thing is the feeling of the port inside you.Its uncomfortable and hurts when you bend or sit and then get up, but it is easing today, the other wounds dont hurt at all. Dr C said the port takes about 3 weeks to heal. The ps not so bad, I'd definately go through it again. :thumbup:Hope this answers your question. I think it is fantastic that you can really enjoy your life again with your kids, I can't wait to be normal again, your story makes it so real. P.S. Bev, Poor you, I hope you feel better soon.............My sister in law has also just got over the dreaded S***e flu. its getting about a bit !! As for the Choc bar, go on have one last bar before bed, cus you won't be havin any more for a while, Lol. Don't worry about the clothes for now, we can sort out stuff nearer the time. Hi Toppings...........I've just got back from Brussels and wanted to let anyone who is going out there this week now that the nights were really hot, the hotel rooms are a little small and last night was awful. If you can, take a mozzi repeller for the room. I got bit several times..........Apart from that it sounds as though you have verything. I didnt use the windeeze (it came out on its own) Well done Jack, glad it all went well :cool: Was it everything as you expected or worse ?? S.x

Bi Bev, It's a deal, I will check my diary and let you know when I'm in Mansfield next, to give you my cast offs !! I feel like I'm doin someone a good turn, by giving my clothes to someone who actually will wear them ! Most of my suits are from Debenhams and I have to say that they are pretty new, cus I got bigger and couldn't fit into my size 18's anymore and had to buy more As for my low fat diet, I can't start until Monday 24th to be honest, cus I'm working the weekend before and I get all my meals thrown in, so I can be a BIT good but why shouldn't I enjoy eating nice food in loads of restaurants for free eh ?? I promise to start on the Monday 24th, only problem, the weekend after, I'm staying with friends in Torquay for the Bank Holiday (Dartmouth Regatta) so, I know we will be eating out and I find it hard to say No to nice food :cool: Have you got your milk thistle yet ? I bought mine from Holland and Barratt last week, so will also start to take it around 24th. By the way, love your photo...... S.x

Hey Bev, Thats a cool idea, cus I'm tellin you now, I ain't goin back there, once this weight is off !!!. My tops are size 22 and bottoms 20. If you wear suits for work, I can give you a few. I've got a broad range of summer and winter stuff (plenty of linen trousers), so we will have to get our heads together once you start losing and arrange something. I'm regulary in Mansfield (thats where my head office is) perhaps I could meet up with you around there ?? Last time I lost all my weight I gave 6 black bags full of larger sizes to charity (some brand new!). I hope someone appreciated them !!!! (boy I could do with them now!) S.x

Hooray, I had a reply from Fred today. He has booked the Hotel for 3 of us but now I have to wait to see if my brother wants to come, cus its goin to cost him £88 !! So, I'm defo booked for the 11th Sept. that was a relief, I realised today that it is only about 4 weeks away......Im really excited and cant wait to start losing weight again. My Tesco delivery man came tonite with my painkillers, wipes & windeze. Just got to find some 'sweetie' like multivitims !! :thumbup: I need to dig out my old joggy bottoms to see what fits and what I may need to buy. I think I will go to Matalan to get a spare pair (cheap and disposable!!!) to keep me going. S.x

BigSis, you are a star........some really good tips ! I had a thought about painkillers and think that 'Day Nurse'/ 'Night Nurse' may do the trick, as that too has paracetemol in it and I think its a bit stronger Great tip about selling the old big clothes, cus I'm not goin back there again !!! Once again, some of it has still got tags on. A few quid to be had I feel. I will defo take a good book...thanks again for the tips. S.x

Hi Bigsis, I'm getting prepared for the Op, I've got my Milk thistle, Windeze and Nuromelts, just got to get the multi vitimins. Have I missed anything, I read it would be good to get Bio oil ? As for the Bras, my weight has been so up and down I have 2 triple wardrobes. One is filled with size 20/22 and the other is 16/18. Included in this are bras and knickers which hardly got worn. So I think Im gonna be ok for a while pn the clothes front. Can't wait to get into the second wardrobe again. Some of the clothes have still got price tags on and have never been worn........how bad is that ? My fluid intake is ok, still need more practice but I am more aware, so hope it will be ok by the time the big day comes around. S x

Bev, sounds good to me, I will look forward to meeting you. I also noticed that Singing Parrott is also getting banded on 8th Sept maybe I will also see you there too ? I've sent off my deposit, just waiting for confirmation of the hotel etc. But my flight gets into Brussels at 5pm on Thursday 10th.....so look out for me. I will let you know my hotel details soon.
