Hello. I'm 44 years old. I've had lap band surgery, which didn't work and started to leak. I then had revision surgery and the band continued to leak. Finally in 2015, I had gastric sleeve surgery. I have lost some weight, but it's still a struggle.

I have chosen not to tell anyone about my surgery. My daughter is the only person besides the doctors and nurses that knows that I've had any surgeries. I did it this way because I didn't want the subject to be brought up at any given time. Well, this makes for a very lonely feeling at times.... so, I'm hoping that I can meet people who can relate to life after surgery and hopefully form new friendships.
