  1. Every doctor is different but it just makes sense to me that you don't want to cause any undue stress to your band area. I currently use Tums as a source of calcium. It helps with gas and it provides my daily calcium intake at the same time. It's chewable and several different varieties to choose from. Make sure you check with your local pharmacy first to find out what can and can not be crushed. Those sharp edges from those pills could cause you a lot of problems in the long run due to damage you can not see. Honey, just be careful with your pills. I due take very small pills that goes down with no problems, but I mostly use chewable or liquid if possible. page 1 (post was too long)
