Hi.  My name is Tracy and I am 42.  I am scheduled for surgery in a few days.  I'm excited and hope that this procedure will help me find my way back to being healthy.  Well, today is Wednesday, July 29, 2009 and I had surgery on Monday, July 27, 2009.  The surgery went very well and I have to say that I have not had any major problems to date.  My doctor and the entire staff at the hospital were just wonderful.  I'm very thankful that I chose to have this done.  I know a lot of people have had some negative experiences and I'm just very grateful that I have not.  While I don't know what the outcome will be at this point regarding my weight loss, I do know that I feel this will really help me to learn to take control back of my eating and my life.  I hope that everyone else who is looking into this procedure will have great results. Good luck to everyone and may we all regain our health.  Thank you Dr. Cribbins and staff and all of the wonderful people at Plano Presbyterian.  Hopefully, you'll be seeing less of me soon!
