I have been overweight since junior high, but now I am at my heaviest. My entire family is overweight, so it is hereditary, as well as the bad habits we have picked up. My mom has always been heavy and was not able to do a lot with me and my sister when we were little: she couldn't go hiking, bicycling, or get on rides with us at disneyland. Now that I am a mother, I do not want to miss out on these activiies with my daughter, so I dediced to look into the lap band surgery.
