I have struggled with obesity most of my life. I've tried many weight loss programs, sometimes very successful, only to gain the weight back within one year or less. I've decided on lap-band surgery because it's less intrusive. I'm currently getting all of my medical approvals and then must wait for insurance approval. I'm scared. I wish that I could loose weight without surgery. But I've almost resolved myself to the fact that I can loose weight but keeping it off will require an entire new way of living. I need to talk with people who have had lap band surgery.
