Oh I did! I did!!!

I was banded and on my one year anniversary I found out I was pregnant! It's helped my PCOS a LOT!!! (I had PCOS so bad that after 4 miscarriages and year and a half with no cycle, and rounds and rounds of fertility meds, 3 fertility doctors told me to look into adoption because having a child was not possible. And we got pregnant with no fertility drugs!) After having my son I got refilled and finally lost all my baby weight (to the frickin pound!) and found out voila! pregnant again! Now with a girl <3 Getting banded was the best choice I ever made. It gave me my two angels!

oh my god! i'm in almost the same boat! got the band and lost weight then at my 1 year mark i finally got pregnant I was soo happy but because of my morning sickness i had to get completely deflated and gained it ALL back. i worked my butt off to lose the weight as fast as i could and i got down to the same frickin weight (to the pound) about 10 months later and got pregnant again! with the second pregnancy i again had to empty out my band completely and i have already gained all my weight back and im only 6months along (i look like im overdue!) and today i got approval to get refilled but i dont remember all the things we are supposed to do! i cant remember the rules or what we all had to do in the beginning? i need to get back on track before i get any bigger!

I finally had a few pain free days (minus time with my mother-in-law) and i have started going to the gym. So far I made it Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and today, Sunday. I have been trying not to weigh myself too often but so far i have gone from 273 (my heaviest in May) to 239.5 (as of today). I have only cheated on the no smoking a few times but did really good until last week. Going to try again, hope this time, no cheating. Starting to wonder about how i am going to celebrate my birthday though... cupcake instead of cake:w00t:? Am I allowed to have a cocktail or two? I know that I wont be able to get hammered like I have the previous years, but can you drink with the band? I kinda want to ask my dr but i dont want to bother them with stupid questions. -S P.S. does it bother anyone else that the cute two thumbs up emoticon doesnt work, instead the dumb looking thumbs up with sunglasses gets put there...stupid emoticons...you think your so clever dont cha???

I just had my surgery (the 5th) yesterday...and I am still waiting to be released :wink: I have to wait till I can get rid of my nausea and puking but at least the surgery part is over

HELP!!!! My dr. put me on the pre-op liquid diet and I DONT KNOW WHAT TO EAT!!! I am getting very discouraged because if this is this hard now...how am i going to do this after surgery? Does anyone any idiot proof recipes for the liquid diet????

I just had my last appt. with Dr. McBride yesterday and she was so awesome:wub:. I am really glad she is the doctor doing it. I am also super happy that the next time I will have the pleasure of seeing her, will be the 5 mins before the lovely anesthesia team knock my ass out. Since I had my gallbladder out on the 9th of July and couldnt eat (i didn't want to either) for quite some time, I lost enough weight and my incisions are healed enough to keep my August 5th surgery date. Also since I am still in the healing process, I get to wait until this Saturday to start my pre-op diet . I have also been 1 month without smoking :thumbup: ...thank goodness for surgery 1, and the fact that they had me nice and drugged, because my withdrawl did not kill anyone this time, ha ha:lol:. Still have those cravings for one ,But then again I would much rather be looking hot :ohmy: than smoking so I guess it is worth it. Well that is all I have for today! BYE!!!

Had my last dr appt today! The next time i see my dr i get my lap band!!!!! SOOOO EXCITED !!!!! So excited I could puke! But excited nonetheless.....

I just had my gallbladder out 7.9.09 and im still supposed to get my band on 8.5.09. I think you will be fine enough for surgery by September. Good luck :thumbup:

For LB's casual wear Bananna Replublic, Deb, Forever21, and Charlotte Russe (if you get really tiny or want super cute shoes). Wow I think I just got a rush out of typing those names again...oh shopping addiction... How I have missed thee? I can't wait till I can shop at all my favorite stores again!!! I think the thought of shopping will keep me nice and motivated!!!

WHOO HOO!!!! I NEVER GET GOOD NEWS!!!! SO, I thought I would share :cursing: Just saw my doc yesterday and she said tht i didnt have to start my liquid diet this week!!!!:cursing: Since I just had emergency gallbladder surgery last week and the infection is almost all gone and im healing "as expected" she said that as of now, my LB surgery is still the 5th AND instead of losing the 10 lbs she wanted me to lose prior to surgery, i've lost 16.5! :cursing: whoo frickin hoo!!! Thank goodness i have been too sick to eat! HA HA! I was so worried with all of my laying around and swelling I massively gained. (P.S. I wonder how much an infected gallbladder weighs, ha ha) Supposed to see her again Monday, so she can tell me how many days before surgery to start the liquid only diet. :cursing: I'll keep you posted! -S :cursing:

you know what i will really love.... being able to walk around the mall and talk on the phone at the same time. i would love to do that and not sound winded like i just ran for my life....yes, that would be so nice ooooh! also, i want people i dont know to stop asking when im due....im not pregnant....please stop asking, however it is kinda nice to be helped out to the car with your groceries, lol
