Hey! Yes I Did. I love your blog! Right now I am not feeling any restriction and have gained some weight back. I am not going to panic because I am getting my first fill Sept 11th. I was getting spoiled losing all this weight so fast! Keep up the good work! Susan

Hey everyone! Just checking in... It has been 21 days since surgery and just in the last 3-4 days, I am feeling so much better. The soreness is minimal and I have been able to eat more. I don't think it is healthy to lose 14lbs in 17days, which I did. I think some of this weight was from the trauma one's body feels after surgery. I spoke to my doctor who is going to do my fill Sept 11th. I can't wait. I feel my appetite has increase the more days go by and I don't want to lose this momentum.

Thanks for reminding me I am doing a little too much! I need to ask for more help from my children. It's hard to do but I deserve it! LOL I am having a much better day today and have my appointment next week. Is anyone missing or craving the bad foods that you got you here to begin with?! I have noticed that lately and I guess just like anything else, this is a PROCESS and good and healthy behaviors take time and repetition to make lasting change.

Maybe I spoke too soon. After not being hungry, now I seem to be and I am walking about 30min per day and it seems to be irritating my incisions. I sometimes really ache on the left side where the big incision is. Also, where they made the incisions seems to be lumpy now. Does anyone know if that is normal? I guess I am just anxious because I don't have my firt post-op appt until next week and I am worried I will not continue to lose weight. I want to keep this momentum up but I have to be realistic and not expect too much. Just feeling a bit down tonight. Maybe

Everyone seems to have the same pains. Do you believe, I have NOT been hungry once?! Wouldn't it be great not to even need 1 fill?! I doubt that will happen. Out of boredom, I make chicken salad in the blender! I was just sick of getting my protein from something sweet! It wasn't as bad as it sounds, but tomorrow I may have to give my dogs a treat! I think the hardest part for me is to remember not to lift more that 10lbs! I hope everyone is feeling better tonight!

I had mine done on the 1st and I m still a bit sore. I have not been hungry but feel a bit vulnerable. Last night I got a bit depressed. Maybe because I cannot stuff my feelings anymore, which is a wonderful thing. My kids came home from a weeklong trip with their dad and said I looked like I had lost weight! I said thanks, but they did not know about the surgery! I will take it where I can get it. I wonder how many days I can expect this soreness?

ToomuchRN. Doesn't that sound fun to save up and go August bandsters go on a trip to Celebrate?! I think it gives extra motivation!

Hello, I was banded 8/1/09 in Mexico. Great experience except I could not eat the food! lol I am still sore on my left side where the port is but it gets better everyday. I have not been hungry so I am not complaining. Just getting a bit excited about slowly getting my life back. I am gonna begin walking 3x a day tomorrow. My throat is still sore from the tube down my throat during surgery but that's about it. ALSO, I forgot the most important thing! We are trying to get a bunch of people who are up for a trip later next year. We are waging $10 per 1lb lost and we are thinking either a cruise or somewhere with surf/sand/waves/music to Celebrate. I just went to the Vitamin shop and got 1 bottle of ISOPURE Alpine Punch flavor. I could not believe how much I liked it! I am beginning my liquid diet in the morning and my surgery date is August 1. I wonder why the cases are so expensive?!

My date is August 1st in Mexico! I am excited but am ready after researching for a year!

Has anyone gone to Dr Kuri recently and just how dangerous is it right now to go there?
