I can only sleep on my stomach. After surgery, I called my doctor's office and the nurse told me if I could tolerate it, it was not a problem to sleep that way. She said some people didn't have pain and others did. -

I was banded 9/23. Had to be at the surgery center at 6:30 am. I was home by 10:30 am. Very little pain (mostly from the tube in my throat). My biggest problem now is hiccups. I was concerned about gulping too much liquid too quickly. I'm using one of my grandchildren's sippy cups, which seems to be working well. -
Hi, Rosebud! I've been reading the posts for about a week and I've learned so much. I’ve already attended the seminar and have my first appointment with the surgeon tomorrow. I have 5 grandchildren and struggle to have them sit comfortably on my lap. I’m excited about getting the process started. Good Luck!
