Type I Diabetes for over 21 years and have battled my weight right along side my Diabetes. Every time I gain, the Diabetes gets more out of conrol.  No offense to you Type II Diabetics but our diseases are different. I will never be cured of Diabetes but am hoping this surgery will help me win a loosing battle for control. Always been plus size so having to come to grips with loosing my best friend, i.e. food is tearing me up but so is this disease. I am getting married next year so the thought of being less than a size 10 dress is unfathomable to me but my fingers are crossed. Ive never won a battle with food before and its hard to believe I can but I am trying to be positive.
