Hello everyone! I am currently waiting for my surgery date. I am going to have my lap band surgery on 8/28/06 and am a little nervous. I have to fly to Mexico to get it and am wondering if anyone else here has had the surgery done there? My insurance will not cover it here in the US. That sucks!:think

Hello everyone! I am in the CSRA area about 120 miles east of Atlanta. I am currently waiting on my surgery which is due to be done on August 28, 2006 by Dr. Kuri. I am excited, nervous, anxious, yet ready. Please keep me in your prayers. God Bless all of you! Jeanie -
I have yet to get my surgery. However, I know you can do it. I think maybe you should try some type of distraction. Get a good book, or take a walk. Something like that. I hope it helps. It isn't much, but I hope it gives you some time of encouragement. God Bless, Jeanie
