I was banded in March 2010 and am currently down 95 pounds from my heaviest recorded weight! I have never felt so healthy in my life! I joined the local roller derby team this year and ran a 5k! I never thought I could do any of the things that I am now doing. But the two greatest things that have come with my weight loss have to be that I am now off of my high blood pressure medication and I can now shop in "normal" stores!! This has not been easy, but I try to take one day at a time and celebrate EVERY success along my life-long journey.
