I'm still a little loopy from the pain medication!  My surgery today started at 1:00pm and I was resting back at home by 4:00pm.  Between naps, my evening has been filled with short walks around the house and petting the dog!  Other than some discomfort when I try to take deep breaths and some back pain, I'm feeling very good.  There have been times over the last few days when I wondered if this was the right thing for me to do - I was able to lose 42 lbs. on my own since March - but then I realize that I would eventually just get back into my old habits and gain those 42 lbs. back.  This was definitely the right decision for me.
