Thank you ladies for sharing this. I too have a low BMI of 27. However i have gained quite a bit of weight and i know my family wouldn't understand my decision to fly to MX today & have WLS tomorrow. This is what i want and feel good about it!! Sent from my LG-LS980 using the BariatricPal App

Nana, I had surgery in Tijuna Mexico at Dr. Lopez and I can tell you I would do it over again. The staff was very friendly and tended to my every needs. Dr. Lopez was execellent and I am happy that I had my surgey done their.

Penny you and the others have my prayers and I am sure you all will be okay. I am also in Mexico, arrived last night. I am having my surgery done at LIMARP at 9:00. I was suppose to have it yesterday but my flight came in late. With that being said, good luck

Congrads TeriLu on obtaining your surgery date. Mine was Aug17th but it has changed to July 28(next Tuesday) I am so excited and ready. I am actually getting the sleeve. I was getting the band but after doing some research, I personally think the sleeve will be a better fit for me. Good luck to everyone and I will keep you all posted as I will be traveling to Mexico to get mines done!!! -

I am also in August. I start my liquid diet tomorrow for 2 weeks straight. I'm sure it will be diffucult but I plan on taking it one day at a time. -

Hello all. I have made a decision to have lap band done on August 17 in Mexicio. I have done a lot of research and decieded on LIMARP Surgical Unit. The cost is $5000 and I am self pay. Has anyone elso gone out of the country to have this peformed and if so what was your experience?
