Hey Crazy! I understand being nervous - it's really not that bad. Use those pain meds the first few days and no problem! The first week your stomach will be very swollen and you won't be hungry (thank god, because you'll be drinking 1 oz. of protein/liquids every waking 15 minutes!) Do yourself a favor....go to Bariatriceating.com and read about the different protein shake recipes....there are tons!!! I drank vanilla for 2 weeks and was getting so sick of it! I had no idea of all the other varieties, syrups, etc. that you could do to make the liquid stage more appealing! They also guide you into what brands are better for you than others etc. It's been three weeks since banding and I feel completely healed, full of energy, and have started back at the gym (I'm really freaked out about loose skin, so I'm faithfully walking/working out everyday!)
