SweetP's40th

I have struggled with my weight since the age of 12.  I was the chubby girl who was always told "you have such a beautiful face".  I look through my old journals from high school and can not find an entry that did not mention my weight issues--how sad.  My weight has fluctuated for the past 20 years +/- 70 lbs and I am tired of it.  I will be 40 soon and thought this would be the perfect time in my life to start anew.  My husband is very supportive and has been in my life for 22 years and has seen me struggle with my weight.  I have 2 beautiful children who keep me very busy and want to be there for them for the next 40+ years.  I am very excited and nervous at the same time with the upcoming lap band surgery!  I have a lot of family support surrounding me (thank goodness!) who have had lap band and gastric bypass surgery and have seen such positive outcomes.  My date is August 12!!!  I can't wait!
