Most of my childhood I was a chubby girl. I always remember being acutely aware of my weight. In my late teens and early twenties, I was able to lose the weight and I felt great! After having two kids, I began to gain the weight back and then some! Then the battle of a million diets ensued. Lose 10 gain 20. Lose 30 gain 50. Lose 70 gain 100. The yo-yo has been in full effect for about 8 years now. I finally had my aha last month when I saw the pictures from my sister's wedding. I was shocked at the photos. I had felt so beautiful that day and the pictures just didn't match up to what I saw in my mind. This happened about one week after a car accident on the freeway. I thought solemnly on how I would feel with my life at this moment, had anything serious happened in the accident. The answer was defeated and sad. I decided that I have had enough !! I am going to do something about my weight and the way I feel about myself. I did some research and decided the band was for me. I scheduled a consultation and now  one month later I have a surgery date for July 15th! I am ecstatic! I've already begun living my new life. My mind set has really changed and I can't wait to be an inspiration for my kids and myself.
