Thanks so much!! I'm on spark people and lose it.com.. After the holidays I'm going to look into fitbit they have some interesting products to help with working out..

I have 2 different logging apps on my phone that I was using to log every bite of food and water.. Think I'll try using them again.. I'm just concerned about gaining all that I've worked so hard to lose..

I Was banded in 2009 lost 175 pounds then had my gall bladder out, went thru a divorce, and a whole bunch of other stuff. My last fill was in 2011, I've had 3. I have some trouble with certain foods getting stuck. Since having my gall bladder out and starting birth control to regulate my cycle I've gained 15 pounds. I know I should go back for a follow up with the MD, but I can't get another fill.. If I do the food will not go down so I don't know how much help going for a follow-up will be.. I've tried going back on liquids and soft foods for 2 meals and my diet hasn't changed much so I'm not really sure what to do here. I'm concerned! Has anyone else had these issues? If so how do I get out of this slump?? I still have about maybe another 60 to 80 pounds that I would like to lose.

If roses grow in heaven, Lord, pick a bunch for me. Place them in my father's arms and tell him they're from me. Tell him that I love and miss him, and when he turns to smile, place a kiss upon his cheek & hold him for awhile, because remembering him is easy, I do it every day. There's an ache in my heart that will NEVER go away.

Thank you so much for your response!! I started writing my talk and one of the topics that I end with is that I'm glad I did the surgery, but I wish I had done it sooner!! and that's true. I had so many misconceived prejudices about having surgery to lose weight. It made me feel weak, that I had no control. I was very fortunate to find a wonderful surgeon here in Sysosset, NY. When I had gone into my preliminary appointment, it was set in my head that there was no way I was having surgery. I had gone to pacify my family and a close friend. But after my meeting with Dr. Geiss, I was like ok, when can I do this?? now a year and a half and 164lbs later, I'm so very happy that I did it.. I still have about 80 pounds to go, but I couldn't be happier!!
