Hi Happy, We were banded same day. I'm glad I read so much about this before surgery, I'm goijng thru the same things other have. I'm sore,especially around the port area. Fortunately I havent started the gas pains thru shoulder etc. It wlll be fun to see how each other is doing since we have the same birthday Good luck
