Had surgery 22 months ago. No problems whatsoever. Have lost 105 lbs. Am glad I had it done. Only regret is I wish it was done sooner. Insurance paid 100%. I go every week to my coordinator for a personal one on one which last 5 min. The support is the most important. 5-13-10 have been at maintenance basically since Oct. 2009 with total weight loss of 125 lbs. Also have had some plastic surgery to compliment the weight loss. I am very pleased with how everything turned out. Still say the only regret I have is not having the lap band done sooner. 3-17-12 Still maintaining, still going pretty much once a week to see my coordinator for a one on one. Hard to believe that my 5 year band anniversary is coming up.
