After 3 years of my doctor encouraging me to talk to a gastric surgeon, I have finally been looking into weight loss surgery procedures and have almost decided that the lap band is the way for me to go.  I find the various gastric bypass surgeries way too invasive.  So now, I am information gathering.My cousin had what he called a "Realize" lap band procedure  done a week ago and he's already raving about how glad he is that he had it done.I just thought I'd check it out and I'm almost convinced.  I really would like to feel better which would be more important to me than even looking better.
