Thought about the surgery July of 2008. Went to a seminar in late September. First Doctor's visit was October 21st. Weight was 262. Did the 6 month diet with my doctor's office, saw a psychologist and a nutritionist. Also a cardiologist. Had an Upper GI. Everything was a go. In April got my approval. Actually had a date scheduled but I ended up walking out of the hospital just before I was going to be wheeled in. (FEAR) Called the doctor's office the following week to reschedule and had my surgery on June 30, 2009.
