Freaking computer just ate my post :ohmy:. So, here goes again: Sounds like everyone is having a rough weekend. Sorry! Yay for kids coming home from the hospital, puppy breath, and Fanny's g'kids!! Wish I had some great advice on the in-law issues. Sorry, no experience there. I've been dealing with a stomach ache that I've had since Fri. night. We had to postpone celebrating my dad's real b'day. I dunno what's wrong. I think I'm somewhat better now though. Maybe I just needed a day in bed. :wink2: Hope you all are hanging in there and that Monday brings you some peace. TGP

I'm looking into a new surgeon this coming week. Hopefully I'll like him and we can get going on a new surgery date. I really was having bad feelings about the other guy. This time, if I hear warning bells, I'll listen. My fingers are crossed that I don't have to repeat all the pre-op tests. It would be kinda dumb. I just did them all on 8/3. I just want to get going. Gosh. Where to start.... Okay, the band does go inside. I'm sure your vet friend could do it for you. After all, if he can manage stitches, surely he can wrap a band around ya. I would take my band off at the beach. But then mine is made from bread twist tie things and they rust. As for Mexico, I would never drink the Water but I think the docs do. That, or tequila. It's all clear-ish I guess. Maybe someone who has a band can answer more questions for you. I'm limited to all things pool-related.:frown: Pooooly

Carlene, I took a look at your profile You may want to look into RNY. Now, I'm a band fan but I want your WLS to be AWESOME. There's a nurse who posts on here...lots of experience. She could help you find a surgeon in MX if money is an issue. TPG aka Pooooly
