It contains calcium and vitamins recommended for bariatric patients. I think the brand is Celebrate. What I found is a grape-flavored powder that you can mix with a bottle of Water. I have not tasted it yet though...still pre-op. PM me if you'd like more info. I ordered it online. I'm not crazy about grape but figured it could come in handy. Good luck and happy banding, TPG

I feel that all of the previous posts had a lot to offer. Each person does have their own demons to face. There's not one magic pill for any of us. If there was, I'd have found it on eBay by now! I think each of you had a different perspective to offer and I found myself really thinking and examining myself as I read each one. I didn't exactly find one story that made things click for me but I know it's time to explore some of my own issues. Thanks for your honesty. TPG

This truly is a PJTP situation. I have been reading the latest thread about ghetto... I just read a post from someone who claims that she has personally been attacked on this forum and likens it to a schoolyard bully situation. I can find nothing in her status that has any sort of nastiness, I found no personal attacks, and basically nothing negative. For her to have posted on a very touchy topic thread was pointless. She truly posted just to post and it does nothing but add fuel to a very hot fire. Why else would you say you had been attacked if it never happened here? This is a person who had no problem attacking me by quoting my post. She didn't quote and blast the folks who agreed with me. She obviously had not read thru the rest of the thread. Or the other problem thread. But please, why post something just to keep the nastiness going? Okay, this was a bit of a rant but it more belonged here than on the rants and raves thread :biggrin:. Oh, Monkey, that is just sad. Snacks are bags of chips and candy bars, right?? Not water :biggrin:!! Hmmmm, think I need a band?? Seriously, thanks for posting these "days in the life" of the band. It reminds me that there will be a real life after being banded. Sometimes you get so caught up in all the don'ts that you feel like life will be so hard and you'll never again eat "real" food. I have appt with surgeon Friday and I'm reading any post on the forum that catches my eye. I appeciate that you all took the time to be so detailed. It really helps. Thanks!! TPG

Oh, that is so sad. Drowning just seems such an awful way to die. I always hope/pray that God takes these people before they really know what's happening. I had a friend fall down an elevator shaft. It was on the news every few minutes all day long. They even showed her in a body bag. It was terrible. I rarely enter an elevator today without thinking about her. When a young person dies, it just leaves us with so many questions. And I feel so badly for anyone who witnesses these situations or those who have any connections. Teenage deaths are so tragic. I find the more I look at a word I've typed, the more I question the spelling. It looks right, sort of, but maybe not... I think computers are smart enough to figure out what we're thinking and just put in the right word (spelled correctly) for us! The English language is so weird. Why have words like read, lead, etc. Are they pronounced as red and led or reed and leed??? And phone? Where's the "f" in that word?? I feel sorry for people trying to learn English as their 2nd language. I think I'd give up :smile2:. TPG

Dear Beth, I realize I haven't been a PJTPer very long, but I LIKE you and have since I started reading your posts :crying:. I'm so sorry for what you are going thru. (I agree about deleting the story.) I'm sorry your weekend wasn't great and then to come home and be faced with that....hang in there. My house expired. Undertakers are on the way. Okay, I'm avoiding anything with Hump in it...yep, leaving the door open for Plain :mad:. Hope the admins keep an eye on pnk. Since my house is full of books that need dusting, and no one will come rescue me.....I'm gonna head for the pool.
