I am from Ottawa and just underwent my lapband procedure in Toronto on July 20th. I went to the Toronto Laproscopic Band Centre (TLBC.ca) since there are no doctors here in Ottawa who do the procedure. I am doing alright so far and with the help of my neice who is a lapbander herself, I am going to be fine. She has lost 100lbs since March 2005 and has 70 to go. Too bad she lives in Windsor though. Right now I am trying to find a doctor who will do fills here in Ottawa. My family doctor will not do it. The outpatient co-ordinator at TLBC is going to introduce me to 2 other patients from Ottawa so that we can hopefully form a support group. I have to give lots of appreciation to the TLBC Neenagh and I hope that you have lots of success.
