    Anybody Else from Oklahoma?

When you move back to the OKC area (hopefully) then maybe we can meet up! Sounds like you are doing wonderfully! Tonja

    Question about last fill, etc.

Maybe I just need to practice my chewing even more. Maybe I'm doing too big of bites. When I'm eating it seems like I'm really chewing and eating small bites, but I'm really going to pay **really** close attention. I'm also going to do some liquids and mushies for a couple of days and see.
  6. I was filled on 11/27/06 - this was my 2nd fill and I have a 10cc band. I now have a total of 2cc in me. Here is my question - and I have a friend who has the same question... With my first fill I had no restriction what so ever. With my 2nd fill I have lots of restriction - and it seems like everything I eat - no matter what it is - it tends to hurt or give me that stuck feeling. Is it that I have too much of a fill? Will the feeling pass if I let it be? Is it that I am still just really swelled in there and need to stay on liquids/mushy for a while? Tonja

    Anybody Else from Oklahoma?

I'm in the OKC area, but used to be in Sapulpa. I'm not sure who that doctor is either - but it's nice to meet another Okie! Best wishes to you! Tonja
  8. The November OKBARIATRICS support groups for bypass and lap band will be combined as we have Dr Stephen Gauthier, a specialist in plastic and reconstructive surgery as our speaker. We will meet in the Auditorium of Integris Baptist Medical Center on 11/21/06 at 6:30pm. Join us for what will be a topic of much interest. If you have any questions, please feel free to message me! Tonja
  9. With my surgeon - had I not had the family support - he would not have performed the surgery. The support is important. Who is going to pick you up and help keep you motivated?
  10. I'm proud to say I haven't had any, and I'm not going to have any. I've gone too far already to screw this up.
