Any experience with previous surgeries (c-sections, gall bladder, etc.) causing possible complications from scar tissue?

how much did you lose before the actual procedure, and since?

the DW is starting to get cold feet due to the fact that we've been reading/hearing about some not good experiences with the band. Yet... As for myself, I'm told I don't yet qualify!

what's interesting is that my "dw" had her gallbladder removed the same day and was in NYU hearing the megilla read by a wonderful young boy. More importantly, how did the surgery go for you, and how's it been since?

you guys are quite an impressive group! I was wondering if any of your surgeries were complicated due to scars from previous surgeries (c-sections, gallbladder, etc.)?

my wife had the gallbladder removed already, plus c-sections. Now contemplating banding, but fearing the scarring could cause complications. Any experiences?
