I am on day 1 1/2 of my 2 week liquid diet...I get banded 8/19/09. Last night I cut up 1/2 of a banana and put it in my vanilla MediFast 55 powdered shake...it was delicious.:w00t: My husband had a ....fit. No food, no food he started yelling. I told him that if the Dr. said I could have a salad...what difference would 1/2 of a banana make. :sneaky: I have two social engagements before 8/19...pray for me so I can get through them without eating anything. Like one previous poster said...it's only two weeks out of your life...just think about life when you feel good again! YOU CAN DO IT!

I just got my approval, too. :thumbup: I don't have any dates yet but at least I know this will happen. The waiting is the hardest part. I just want to get going. Waiting for a date for initial consultation so I can start shakes. Can't wait!

Hi, I'm new to this board. I just completed all of the criteria for submittal to BCBS-NJ. My bariatric coordinator did not sound reassuring when she saw my 6 month "diet" visits with my primary care physician. Please help me with positive thoughts that I get approved by insurance. All paperwork was faxed yesterday 7/7/09. Just waiting for an answer. Thanks,
