I have been approved by have to wait for my first doc visit until August 14th because it's an 8 hr drive one way. I have been trying to hard to lose weight for so long and they have told me to stop trying b/c if I start losing then the insurance won't pay. Which I understand and makes sense but I have no clue how to eat without feeling guilty or watching every bite I put in my mouth. I wanted to try to do the big liquid diet that everyone is talking about to make sure I can do it so when it comes time after surgery that I have to do it for real but I'm scared to. I'm so ready for this miracle and feel so lucky that my insurance approved me so easily. Just seems like FOREVER till I get to start living again. Since I have to wait 6 months due to insurance I guess I should calm down and just let it happen...:thumbup:

Glad to make some friends that understand what we're going thru. I'll probably have my surgery in February 2010 b/c I don't have my first visit until August 14th. I have already been approved just have to go thru the 6 month waiting period. I'm having mine in Richardson, TX which is about an 8 hr drive from Amarillo (where I live). So, it'll be like a mini vacation. Are you scared?

I love the wedding picture! And your husband looks almost the same as mine! ha ha! I want to thank you for all the kind words you wrote to me. When and where are you having your surgery? I'm July 29th in Mississauga Ontario. Hopefully we can suport each other each step of the way.
